A wedding gift has an awkward job. It has to be personal without being presumptuous, and it has to survive the move into a shared house. A pair of hand-felted mice in wedding dress does both — and quite a few couples use them on the cake instead of a traditional topper, then keep them afterwards.

Each is needle-felted by hand from organic wool sourced from Tibet and New Zealand, designed in Faringdon, Oxfordshire by award-winning British designer Sonia Spencer, and made by skilled craftswomen in Kathmandu, Nepal and Jaipur, India. They arrive in a gift box, which matters when the present is going straight onto a gift table.
