Gifts for Knitters

There is a pleasing circularity to a woollen sheep who knits.

The Knitting Sheep — Nell, Nora and Nancy — each sit with needles and a work in progress, hand-felted from organic wool at £19.99 apiece. Knitting Nell is our best-seller by a wide margin. There is a Three Knitting Sheep Bundle if you want the full set, the Cuppa Tea Sheep for the essential accompaniment, and the Winter Woolies Sheep in her own knitwear. We also make small hanging knitting mouse decorations with tiny needles.

Each is needle-felted by hand from organic wool sourced from Tibet and New Zealand, coloured with eco-friendly Swiss dyes. They are designed in Faringdon, Oxfordshire by award-winning British designer Sonia Spencer, and made by skilled craftswomen in Kathmandu, Nepal and Jaipur, India — women working wool by hand, making small figures of women working wool by hand.

They stand about 12cm tall and arrive in a gift box. For anyone who has ever been told they have enough yarn, this is the correct reply.

The same range suits crocheters and general wool-crafters. The Cuppa Tea Sheep and Winter Woolies Sheep are popular across both.
