They are designed in Faringdon, Oxfordshire by award-winning British designer Sonia Spencer, and made by skilled craftswomen in Kathmandu, Nepal and Jaipur, India, from wool coloured with eco-friendly Swiss dyes.

The test for a good stocking filler is whether it is still in the house in March. These generally are — usually on a windowsill, occasionally at the start of a collection that gets quietly out of hand.
